Responding the information verbally in demonstration method

Abstract

This study is aimed at improving students’ability in material Indonesian language in responding the information verbally in demonstration method in 5th grade semester 1 at SDN 1 Kutacane with total number of students are 39. Based on the data had been found that there were the increasing in the ability of the students and in this case could provable in the orientation test, cycle 1 and cycle 2. In the orientation test, the mean of the students’ score was 61,66%, and cycle 1 test, the mean of the students’ score was 69,10%, and in the cycle 2 test, the mean of the students’ score was 81,15%. It can be oncluded that teaching Indonesian language by using demonstration method is effective in responding the information verbally and Indonesian language teacher should try this strategy.
