Abstract

The objectives of this study are to observe whether : (1)knowing process implementation of learning by using Snowball Throwing Model, (2) the improvement of learn mathematic result through Snowball Throwing Model by subject of adding and decreasing franctions with difference denominator for fifth grade students at SD Negeri 105351 Lubuk Pakam. This study was held at SD Negeri 105351 Lubuk Pakam by subject students of grade V having 32 students. This study used classroom action research. The Instrument used in this research is essay test having 5 question for cycles 1 and 2. The findings of this study were : First Cycle indicates that syudents in classical learning completeness of 68,75% or just 22 students who gain ? 65 with average 63,47. Second Cycle indicates that syudents in classical learning completeness of 87,50% or 28 students who gain ? 50 with average 74,79. It canbe in Second Cycle students in classical learning completeness has been fulfilled because it has met all the criteria of completeness study that 85% of students gained ? 65. And also obtained an increase in the activity of students on the observation of First Cycle indicates that the activities of student is 66 and Second Cycle is 88. It canbe conclution that through Snowball Throwing Model can improvement of learn Mathematic Result of students in class V SD Negeri 105351 Lubuk Pakam.
