Abstract

The problem of this research are metacognitive competence and student’s creativity in mathematical problem solving that is low, student’s response in negative learning and student’s less of being active in the process of realistic mathematics learning. This research intends to know: (1) The difference of student’s creativity in mathematical problem solving that taught by using Realistic Mathematics learning and the student’s taught using conventional learning. The result of the research shows that: (1) Student’s creativity in solving mathematical problem among students taught using RME is higher than student’s creativity in solving mathematical problem that taught by using conventional learning.
